WENT for an interview this afternoon. An admin asst post in a construction company, IF I'm recruited I will work in an on site office for 6mths (contract basis). All male working environment. I will be the female. Doing admin duties for the Caucasian boss who’s out station most of the time.
My parents are NOT in favour of me working there, especially Dad. He told me to decline the job because it’s an all male working environment, not safe, further more he thinks workload will be heavy. It’s a 5 & ½ day work. I
Sigh… I'm not very sure myself whether I'm to standard or not. (can cope or not) Anyway, I’m going to see the site manager(boss) tomorrow for a second interview. There I hope to get a clearer details of the company & my duties etc… Then gauge for myself whether suitable or not, to take up or not. In the first place, the company wants me or not.
