4giveness II
Love your enemies, . . . and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you. —Matthew 5:44. 2day's daily bread gist.
Jesus 4gave his tormentors. It strikes me deeply. We've gotta 2 4give & 4get.
This reminded me of someone who told me her story of true 4givenss. She took the initiative to patch up with the person who had hurt her deeply. She bore no grudges nor hatred. She was following the example of Jesus. I wondered 2 myself whether will I be truely 4giving.
"Lord, flood my heart with compassion, and purge away my unforgiving spirit. Help me to 'live peaceably with all men'" (Romans 12:18).
Let me "Yi De Fu Ren" Serve all with compassion.
