It’s been a long day @ church teaching Sunday school and learning to make clothe puppet.
First @ my sun sch class, I talked on Jacob & Esau’s reunion. Our classroom is an open concept; therefore outside noises can be heard very clearly & loudly. There were a few other boys playing noisily outside our class, it was not easy to conduct lessons Sigh…. I “ta boleh tahan” went out 2 warn them 3 times, but in vain. Nevertheless, my darling pupils managed 2 complete the art work. I gave my students refillable pencil as reward for completing their art work.
Straight after sun sch, rushed 2 buy lunch & ate 2gether wif my fellow sun sch colleagues. Thereafter, the Cloth Puppet Making class commenced. Our instructress Mdm Lin XiuYing taught us how 2 make a puppet using towel & other cloths. It was tedious for people like me who don’t noe how 2 sew. Haha. The sewing, cutting, pasting took us 4 hrs.
Sister WaiHar was the fastest 2 complete. Pastor Wilson was next. Wah… We all feel Pas. Wilson is like a tailor! He was the last 2 begin (He observed the rest of us for a while) but one of the fastest 2 complete. Cool! As for me, I’m rather slow in my stitches. Yes, it was tedious but the end product gives us a great sense of fulfillment.
之后林导师教导我们正确的运用布偶。；例如：HOW 2 “HOLD” the puppet 2 VOICE IT, What’s the right posturing for the puppeteer etc.. 我们真是获益不浅！
