美食推介回来了!这回介绍的是位于武吉知马购物中心的“豪享豆腐”（THINK ＴＯＵＦＵ）。三人点了炸麦片豆腐（$5.50)，鱼柳（泰式浆）($5.50)， 黑椒牛排($5.50)，豆腐菇类羹($8.60) 配白饭($0.50)及两杯咖啡磨卡($1.20 each)和自制意米水($1.20)。麦片豆腐味道刚刚好，吃下后没有油腻感，只有麦片香，鱼柳的浆酸辣适中，Mmm.. 黑椒牛排肉质嫩，奖汁带点甜味，感觉不错。豆腐菇类羹美味极了！爸妈点的咖啡磨卡是咖啡加美禄，爸说味道不错，没有苦涩。我叫的意米水则是唯一的LETDOWN, 因为色泽怪怪怪，不是应有的淡灰色，口感也不怎样。价格公道，食物相当可口。食物种类不多，份量多数是四人份。但食物对我而言贵精，不贵多。地点不是很理想，若没打广告，很可能错过此地。地址： 170 Upper Bukit Timah Road #B2-18 (Bt Timah Shopping Ctr) Singapore 588179.电话：6466 2886

Writing Notes
It has sort of become a habit of mine to jotting down notes be it hearing of sermons, cellgp discussions, or any kind of seminars. It is a habit developed mainly due to me having a poor memory, therefore have to jot down notes as future reference. Simply put, if I don't write I will forget, but by writing down, I can refer back to refresh my memory of the sermon/discussions/seminars..
In cellgp, I'm now assigned to writing down what we have discussed (Word) & I actually enjoy this given task. It helps me to reinforce what we have discussed and know HIM deeper. There are insights from Pas. Yeo when he joins us for discussions. (based on biblical concepts he found in various bible verses) Then cosolidate all the notes into paragraphs with full sentences (for the ease of reading for all, translate from my Chinese notes to English though discussion is done primarily in Mandarin). Thanks to Cellgp Leader for the reminder. Thereafter, email to Cellgp Leader for his perusal. He will sent to other cellgp members after reading and editing.
Then there is the disciple training I am currently undertaking. I do not speak much, prefer to listen to others' in discussions. Scribbling (yes, cos in a hurry to jot down) comments and points discussed into my disciple text/work book. Our Facilitator is Pas. Phoebe. 多听,少发言,除非言之有物,因为言多必失，但切记物极必反。

腓立比
16 日与小组一起到VIVO City聚会吃饭.选择了"店小二"中菜馆.食物真不错!Mmm..当归烤鸭, 蒙古排骨, 波菜with咸蛋, 芝麻鸡等等...然后到隔避的雪糕店品尝雪羔.15日刚好是颖乐的生日.重点是与小组有美好的交通. (交流与沟通)
中学同学
17日与两位中学同学相聚在VIVO City.其中一位已经结婚,现已怀孕,预产期是三月. 她行动不是很方便,走起来气喘..从公司赶来会面. 我很不好意思. 我们在 ＡＳＩＡＮ KITCHEN吃饭. 说真的,食物不怎样. 炒饭的饭不入味道,闻不到饭香. 闲聊了一近一个半钟头.

D.E.A.R
It's "Drop Everything And Read" (D.E.A.R) from today till end of this month. National Library members can borrow up to 8 books instead of 4 at this period. Well.. I can't even finished 3 books at this given period let alone 4-8 books. so the increment makes no difference to me. haha..
Most of us are busy with either work/ school/ family. When I was busy @ work, finding time 2 read becomes secondary. After coming back from work, shower and have dinner with family, check emails, watched TV... there's seem no time left for some reading, be it newspaper/magazine/novels.. However, we can do some "catching up" on weekends.
Usually I would go EMF @ holland V to rent a second hand short novel to read or borrow from the national library near bras basah. Sometimes I would even venture to Bt Batok/Jurong West/Bt Panjang Community Library to seek out my type of books.
What''s my kind of books then? 尤今's <<大胡子的春与冬>>,<<燃烧的狮子>> & her short travelogues... her stories are usually kept short and the language use is simple, easy to understand. Suitable for Secondary/JC students to read. I started reading her books in sec one when I needed to do a book review. Mum chose for me<< 燃烧的狮子>>. From then on, I fell in love with 尤今style of writing. The author herself is a JC teacher. Alot of of her stories's background are set in schools. The conflicts/the problems/ the charecters faced in school, how some of them succeeded in overcomeing the obstacles, how some failed though..
English novels: Mainly Agartha Christie's dectective mysteries.(they are interesting In my upper Primary & secondary days, it was Nancy Drew. I had a rather large collections of Nancy Drew books. I bought them because I didn't know what books to read, so to cultivate a habit of reading I bought a series of Nancy Drew's detective stories to read. I wasn't an avid reader in my primary schools days, I watched TV more than I read. As I grew older, realised the beauty and enjoyment of reading.
Reading habit is best develped from young.

刀子嘴，豆腐心
有位好友就是这样一个嘴硬心软的人。第一眼会觉得她看似有点凶悍，难以亲近，不太认识她会感觉其眼神凌厉，言词好厉害哦！但是只是外层而已，当你逐渐认识她，你会察觉在那强悍的外表之下竟是个心肠好好的朋友。以前不解她为何老是对于我的任何礼物有所批评，觉得好像在数落我，甚至在吹毛求疵，但是经她的一番解释，我比较能明白她的好意：希望我在做任何事情都能本着严谨的态度去做。我很感激她在我生活上的提点。她看到我不知怎么分类小朋友的礼物时，便主动帮忙我一起分类，我有任何问题，她都会竭尽所能。

ASSEMBLAGE
today had a long time no see gathering with my paternal cousins @ Cousin-in-law, Cheng San's hse. Ah Joo-Gor, Ah Ho-Gor, Sock-Jie, Choon-Jie, Celia, Ah Mei, Irene, Ah Peng, Ah Hui &... me, Eng Eng + 2nd Aunt, 6th uncle & aunt.As we chat & eat, we talked about our habits/charecteristics/personalities. We shared similarities that shows we are LIMs. Ah Hui loves to squat, me too. We find that comfortable. haha.. Most of us have either sinus or nasal allergy. Runny or blocked nose is a common sight among us. Some of us are cheeky, some of us are funny. Many of us have short legs and long upper body proportions. (including me & James) I found out where my geniality/assiduities(courtesy) comes from. My dad. Sok -Jie said that my dad always gives encouraging comments on her dishes. I didn't realise that till 2day. It's in the genes. I didn't say much. as usual the shy one. It may surprising to some people but I tend to clamp up when faced with a large crowd , nevertheless, it was a sweet gathering. Thanks Sok Jie for being a gracious host & Choon Jie for initiating the gathering, Ah Hui for co-ordinating and other cousins for making this assemblage possible.
